Project Flowx
Visually broadcasting a slice of our atmosphere.

Between sun, land, sea, and sky, wind shows us connection. Being receptive is the risk. Profound discovery is the reward. The true observer soon becomes the participant and the vector.

An altar of the wind, Project Flowx reveals hidden energy. The installation responds silently as it continually broadcasts a visual slice of our atmosphere. Scaled to the human experience, the form shifts with and around us.

Project Flowx—Wind-based interactive land art

Project Flowx is living magic in the sky. A fresh, friendly, intimate, and larger-than-life curated air display.

Experience something that is otherwise invisible—air can be magical. This is a sky painting that changes from day to day, and hour to hour.

Like sky creatures, their movement is fluid, silken, silent, and ever-changing. They fly in groups and respond like a school of fish, or flock of birds. The Flowx design is a wind instrument—a sensor that captures and visually rebroadcasts every nuance of the airflow.

•From a distance, the display is large and provides a visual draw from a wide radius.

•Safe installations that are extremely immersive. Friendly walk-through and ongoing interaction with the general public.

•Education with discussion and hands-on experiences.

•Feel flight directly through the finger tips.

•Many different scales of flying objects all based on the same genotype produce a sense of connection with the installation. From very small to very large, the mind can understand the size of the wind in a new way.

•Hand-dyed colors respond to various elements in the landscape and sky.

•Project Flowx sky installation coupled with a Gallery Show of photos, videos and paintings - space permitting.

5th-8th of may we will be on the beach flying on those days as those are the official festival days.

Project Flowx Clusters

These branching clusters show how the group can look after the individuals high above the ground. Individuals dive in an instant like shooting stars. But the group responds with cohesive reference and waits for the one to realign. Every detail of the design allows them to continually work together.

We put our life energy into our designs. It may be tempting for others in the kite industry to adapt, modify and simply to use these technologies. If you feel you must emulate our work, ask for express permission first! Please give credit where you know it is due. Tell 'em about us and maybe we'll tell 'em about you. ...Oh yeah and buy our kites!
